Whether it be ourselves or some other photographer, that you decide on to photograph your big day, First consider this! Different people attach differing importance or values to the service of photography on their wedding day. For some there is no question about it, they know the photographer that they want and will book well in advance to ensure that they have him or her on that day. Cost not being the main concern.
Others, like most of us, may also want to book early, while also working to some what of a budget, large or small and no doubt attempting to trim a bit off here and a bit off there.
As such there will always be a cheaper, and cheaper again photographer out there somewhere. Or perhaps, (as I have often heard) an uncle or a friend who has a good camera that will do it for us. I know it is tempting, but Please Don’t Compromise Quality For Price, Or a Friend with a Good Camera. Remember the old saying, A Good Set Of Golf Clubs Does Not Make A Good Golfer.
No doubt you will want to show your album off to friends and family. However, if after receiving your photos they are less than perfect, they can’t be done again, there’s no second chance. What you’ve got! Is what you’ve got!....For ever!
A little, or no training on how to use a camera will never achieve the production of images such as you will view within this website. Remember however, it is not only great photos that you will be looking for. A good photographer requires experience, diplomacy and creative vision, the ability to mediate with the other services involved . As well as being capable of the management of the entire photographic day and all that it entails. All of this on the one and only day that is available! Your wedding day! A good photographer, should, in a professional manner, be fun and a joy to work with, a positive enhancement to the atmosphere of your special day, bringing the very best out of you and your guests.
There is no substitute for years of experience. The role of a wedding photographer is extremely demanding in all of the areas mentioned and more. The pressure of the day is immense. Having a photographer with the necessary capabilities and aptitude is worth every penny.
Therefore, At Alan Guy Photography we understand that you may love the work that we do and would very much like us as your photographers. We also understand that arranging a wedding can be a daunting task financially. For that reason and for your convenience we can arrange the option for you to spread the payment of your wedding photography over a choice of instalments that will fit your needs.
That being, One – Two – Three or Four instalments, from the time of booking, to the date of your wedding. The final instalment being paid on delivery of your preview album, which would be after the wedding.
Initial deposit required in order to confirm your date is £100. Thereby reducing the total amount due by the same amount.
